Rupe was 1-1 with a 5.59 earned-run average in 11 appearances this season for Kansas City after being recalled from Omaha on April 16.

The 24-year-old Wood, a 2006 third-round draft pick, was 2-1 with a 2.16 ERA and five saves in 12 games with the Pacific Coast League affiliate.
